Prior to joining BlackPeak Capital, Angel Stefanov was an Associate at Entrea Capital and joined the firm in 2013 together with his former colleagues from Raiffeisen Investment Bulgaria. At Entrea Capital, he focused on asset valuations, research and analysis of potential acquisition targets.
Before joining Entrea Capital in 2013, Angel worked at Raiffeisen Investment for two years, where he accumulated experience in a number of corporate finance and financial advisory mandates across various industries, including the sale of the largest digital media platform in Bulgaria.
Prior to Raiffeisen Investment, Angel completed a summer internship with KPMG (Transaction Services) and a long-term internship at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in the United States, where he assessed equity investment opportunities and portfolio risk/return characteristics for individual client portfolios.
Angel also completed an internship at the Portfolio Analytics Group of BlackRock in the United States where he assessed portfolio-/asset-level risk analytics, asset valuations, and trading strategies for large scale institutional fixed income portfolios.
Angel holds an MSc degree in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and a BSc (Magna Cum Laude) degree in Business Administration from the Ithaca College School of Business in the United States.
Angel unwinds by exploring nature, downhill biking (competed on a national level), swimming, camping, and snowboarding.
